The first Jade kart was built in 1991 for using in 250 and other gearbox classes, it was designed and built by Mark and Keith Bisp at the workshop at Edgehill. The expertise gained over many years of racing went into the building of the chassis and it soon became a proved winning formula.
Jade 250 karts are available today in short circuit or long circuit configuration.
Jade karts are still used in 210 Villiers and we still manufacture a 125 chassis.
With the success of the gearbox kart already established and Ross and Scott now both racing themselves we decided to move into 100cc and homologate a Jade TKM chassis.
The Jade Elite was the first and had immediate success at clubs such as Shenington and Rissington, soon proving it could win races and club championships.
At the next homolagation came the Elite II with yet more results this time at Super 1 events.
In 2007 Jade introduce the latest TKM chassis the Jade Dominator, very different in design to the Elite but a proved a race winner.
New for 2010 the Jade 010 for TKM classes and all Rotax classes, new revolutionary design developed with input from Scott and Ross using knowledge gained from racing championship equipment.
